Would you like to win a new iPhone, iPod Touch or possibly a new digital camera, all while helping a cause that is near and dear to your heart?
A Small Victory is launching an important fundraising campaign and we want you to join us! During this eight week long event, we will be partnering with a wonderful efundraising company to create a unique fundraising campaign which will help us bring our community together in a very fun and creative way - Virtual Fundraising Walls!
‘Build’ your own wall by becoming a cause champion and invite your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to buy bricks where they can post a picture and add personal messages to show their support. Everyone who participates in our fundraising contest would have a ‘Small Victory Wall’ that would feature a slideshow of your friends and supporters who have become involved.
We are looking to our most dedicated members to become cause champions and volunteer to create a Small Victory Wall with help from the people in your life.  With your help, this program is designed to bring friends and family together in support of a larger cause. The Small Victory Walls would be marketed to your network via email or posted on MySpace or Facebook pages. It is a simple, turnkey program that is also designed to bring our community together in a positive, supportive way.
We need your help and to reward you for your efforts we will be giving the top fundraiser with a choice to receive a new 3G iPhone or iPod Touch. The champion who sells the most bricks will be awarded with a Canon PowerShot Digital Camera. Three other prizes will be awarded at random. (please see rules and regulations for further details.)

Below is a secure link to a sample Small Victory Wall which we have created to demonstrate how powerful and exciting this unique fundraising tool is.  Feel free to "buy a brick" and upload a picture to experience first hand why we are so excited about this new fundraising tool.  Our sample wall is a demonstration and the credit card processing feature has been disabled. THIS IS JUST A SAMPLE. YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED.

As we approach the fourth birthday of our Janell, we find that we still grieve the loss of the daughter we never got to know. Through all our sadness and anger comes A Small Victory. And this work has become an outlet for our pain.
Four years has passed and we have had two major blessings - our son, Phoenix and another daughter, Scarlett. And though our house is filled with laughter and love, there will always be one missing. Our sweet Janell has taught us so much. She has taught us how to love completely and how precious life is.
On July 25th, please remember Janell Victory Allen. She is the reason we began A Small Victory and she is the reason we continue to turn misfortune into memories. If you never have, or it’s been a while, please visit her website at www.janellvictory.com.

As long as we remember, they are never truly lost.

A Small Victory would like to extend a special thank you to those who have pledged monthly contributions to aid families going through the worse possible loss. By making these monthly donations you are insuring the support to many people.
If you are interested in setting up a monthly donation please email us or donate online.

On May 2nd, 2009, A Small Victory will be hosting “Seeds of Hope” Benefit Wine Tasting, Dinner and Auction. We are in the process of obtaining goods and services to be available for the silent and live auctions. All monies raised will go towards providing Loss Kits for families that have suffered the loss of a child.
Please help by donating to this event. Here a just some ideas of things that you can do:

Donation of items from your business, hobby or craft
Services (tax preparation, massage, chiropractic, tanning, lawn care, house cleaning)
Lessons (piano, voice, tae kwon do)
Memberships (health club, museum, zoo)
Gift Certificates
Trips or Airline Tickets

Some other ideas that have been suggested:

Build a themed gift basket
Offer to captain an excursion on your boat
Offer your vacation home for a weekend getaway

The ideas and possibilities are endless. Again, the auction is set for May of 2009. While it is a year away the sooner we get the items the better.
Remember, you might not be able to contribute at this time but, you can help by asking your friends, family or co-workers if there is anything they might be able to donate.
