The main purpose of A Small Victory is to provide Loss Kits to bereaved families. We currently have two kits available, and one in development.

The Complete Loss Kit is intended for families before, during or immediately following the loss of a child. This kit contains several items to help the families bond and memorialize their little one. This is the main Loss Kit A Small Victory provides and it is made available to Hospitals and Care Centers. It can also be sent overnight to arrive before a funeral date. Hospital and funeral home staff are very well adept to use the items in this kit correctly. A Small Victory’s contact information is included if there are any questions about how any why these kits should be used.

Many parents receive very little from the hospitals in which their loss took place. But, after the haze of grief begins to clear, they realize they want more... but it is too late. The Partial Loss Kit offered by A Small Victory is designed to ease the transition. Created with the idea that knowledge equals strength, the Partial Kits provide considerable reading material and support information. There are also a few small keepsakes to remember the child. When requesting a Loss Kit after a loss has occurred, you will receive a Partial Loss Kit.

The Miscarriage Kit is A Small Victory’s newest creation. Eventually intended for use in Hospital Emergency Rooms and Doctor’s Offices, the Miscarriage Kit is designed to support parents of even the earliest losses. Miscarriage Kits are currently available, in limited quantities, to losses which occur during the first trimester of pregnancy. To donate towards the Miscarriage Kit project please use designation code: MiscKit.

Thanks to the "PROM Queens" A Small Victory will be offering the new Forever Kit for losses that have occured over six months ago. A Small Victory understands that grief is a life long challenge and that you will never "get over" the loss of your child, therefore the Forever Kit was designed with long term grief in mind and is focused of remembrance and hope for future. The Forever Kit is also appropriate for any bereaved parent with out consideration to the age or the cause of death of the child the parents are grieving for. To donate to the Forever Kit project please use designation code: Forever.

All Loss Kits are designed by bereaved parents. Each item in these kits are chosen with compassion and with a specific intent in mind. Never hesitate to contact A Small Victory if you have any ideas or suggestions.
