The Forever Package:

The Forever Package is intended for the loss of other children or losses that have occured over six months ago. A Small Victory understands that grief is a life long challenge and that you will never "get over" the loss of your child, therefore the Forever Package was designed with long term grief in mind and is focused of remembrance and hope for future. The Forever Package is also appropriate for any bereaved parent with out consideration to the age or the cause of death of the child the parents are grieving for.

Description: Embracing a Loss: from Sorrow to Acceptance -- A Journal Companionway written by Elisa Carrillo Baldry

Purpose: The format of Embracing a Loss introduces the authors poems and personal essays exploring the avenues of grief, followed by journal prompts to accommodate reader participation. Begin with a pen and a blank journal in hand. Following each poem or essay in this book are journal prompts designed to encourage the reader to draw on one’s experiences and write. Your loss is unique and your experiences are valuable. Allow them to become a meaningful part of your life. While reading the poems and essays, I hope you discover that you are not alone in your grief. I wish you well on the journey of embracing a loss from sorrow to acceptance.

Purpose: A Small Victory understands that writing is essential to healing and though bereaved parents may think that they’d never want to remember the details of their loss, they will begin to forget and it will be very difficult emotionally for them. A Small Victory encourages writing as soon as possible - the child’s pregnancy and birth story are a great place to start. When writing, we encourage the parents and other friend and family to be truthful with themselves. There is no need to share this writing with anyone else so be honest, blunt and accurate.
